Ron Koblin, is an Allied Member of AIA/LA and brings over 30 years of industry-related experience as project manager, governmental agency liaison and owner/builder.

Following his B.A. and postgraduate studies in architecture, geography and urban planning, Ron served as City Planner for two Southern California municipalities before becoming Construction Coordinator for an international proprietary health care corporation. He later served as V.P. for two residential builders where he was in charge of architectural and construction supervision along with client representation to planning departments and design review boards.

As an entrepreneur, Mr. Koblin created a retail franchise company where he took charge of site selection and store design for the initial eight outlets and then assisted two other franchise companies with store development and franchise relations.

Immediately before joining Race Point, Ron took on the challenge of owner/builder with over a half dozen of his own design-build single family residential projects in local upscale foothill communities of Los Angeles as well as one home in Honolulu.

In addition to his passion for the building process, Mr. Koblin’s career includes two corporate positions in sales and marketing for Apple Computer and for a national custom display company – each with a focus on interactive multi-media.
